Working at height presents a unique set of risks and issues. At Aerelink,
we take Heath and Safety issues very seriously. All engineers are fully certified advanced industrial climbers trained in rooftop access and tower rescue, and are fully equipped with their own climbing, safety and rescue kits and operate RF hazard monitors. We also have IRATA trained engineers at hand. If climbing is not an option, we have our own 12.5 metre van mounted cherry pickers which are excellent for accessing street works structures. We will always endeavour to find the cleanest, safest and most cost effective access solution for your project. Installation & Commissioning

We provide installation, commissioning and integration services for all types of optical, radio and voice telecommunications equipment. We are fully conversant with telecom grade radio equipment, from PDH and licensed microwave through to point to point and point to multipoint unlicensed, light-licensed and WiMAX technologies. We can provide an impartial, unbiased opinion with regards to your telecommunications project, thus providing any combination of installation, commissioning, integration and/or operations and maintenance dependant on your requirements.

Line of Sight/Technical Surveys

Aerelinks highly skilled technical services personnel are current in all aspects of telecommunications, including cellular/PCN, mobile radio, WiMAX/Broadband Wireless Access, microwave and fibre optics. All engineers are provided with state of the art test equipment that allows dedicated RF teams to monitor and maintain system integrity. LOS surveys are used to confirm the path of an existing or proposed link, using high powered lamps and high resolution digital photographs.

Radio Survey & Wireless Testing

We have extensive experience of pre-WiMAX Broadband Wireless Access Networks. We have successfully deployed several large networks for both the public sector and private sector customers, providing connectivity to schools, local authority offices, and healthcare establishments using a combination of 5.8GHz equipment and licensed microwave.

We can provide a full design and investigation service, utilizing our database of mast sites to identify intermediate 'hop' sites where a direct connection is not viable. All links are planned on the desktop to eliminate, as best possible, failed surveys prior to testing in the field. This can save time and most importantly, money, on unnecessary testing.


Maintenance

Aerelink have great experience in providing maintenance service and support, tailored to your requirements. We can take care of all your support needs, especially when business critical wireless networks require a fast response from a professional engineering team. We can provide ongoing operations support for maintenance and fault calls to agreed SLA’s. Our proactive service will give you peace of mind, helping to prevent future maintenance issues.

Aerelink have a great deal of experience in providing temporary solutions for sporting and entertainment events, for a variety of applications. Whether you need a temporary microwave link for feeding a temporary GSM base station at a music festival, or an unlicensed link for CCTV at a sporting event, Aerelink can provide fast planning and deployment services to suit your timescales


Decommissioning and Recovery

Aerelink have become extremely experienced in the decommissioning and recovery of antennas, base stations, feeders and dishes with our close working relationships with Telco operators such as Vodafone & T-Mobile. Decommissioning and recovery requires careful, planning, logistics and often access negotiations, combined with environmentally friendly disposal of waste. Again, Aerelink's ISO9000:2001 managed procedures ensure a clean, tidy and smooth job.


Radio Planning

Aerelink offer a desktop radio planning service to provide initial confirmation of a viable line of sight, for Point to Point or Point to Multipoint Radio Networks. This eliminates obvious line of sight problems, guaranteeing a higher success rate at physical survey. In our experience, ninety percent of all initial problems in long distance radio links are caused by poor site survey procedure. We can offer help with the examination of terrain in a particular geographical area, to determine the best placement of base station and repeater sites.
